Sograte BBQ and Brew

First organized in 2002 by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), Mead Day is a national event to increase mead awareness and foster camaraderie among meadmakers.

In celebration of AHA Mead Day, we will be hosting a mead class lead by our local mead specialist, Bob Schafer (Mead Safari). Bob will present samples and information of various mead styles as well as demonstrate the process of mead making.

This is a free event and open to the public.

Fathers Day Special event! We have scheduled an Introduction to homebrewing class just in time for Father's day. This is a "no charge" event and atendees will receive 10% off of a Basic Homebrewing Equipemnt Starter Kit, or ingredient kit - valid on this day only.

In our Extract 101 Brewing Class will go over everything you need to know to get started brewing great beer at home. Our live demonstration class will cover the process of homebrewing from brew day to bottling. We will discuss the basic equipment, ingredients involved, and helpful tips and tricks both to make the process better and to help you make commercial quality beer.

Space is limited to 10 students per lesson to ensure an informal and fun experience for all.
